the name used for a range of frozen food dinners originally produced in 1954 by C A Swanson & Sons. The original ‘TV dinners’ were frozen on metal trays which could be quickly heated.
II . Gloria Swanson
(1897–1983)
a US actor who was a leading star of silent films in the 1920s. She is best remembered, however, for her part as an old film star in Sunset Boulevard (1950). She was married six times.
