TRINITY HOUSE


Meaning of TRINITY HOUSE in English

the British organization responsible for lighthouses, buoys and beacons (= buildings and objects in the sea which warn ships of the danger of rocks) around the coasts of England and Wales. It was established in 1514 and is also a charity, providing homes and financial support for retired sailors and their families.
