CHUJO HIME

[Japanese] A Japanese nun, believed to be an incarnation of the goddess Kannon. She invented the art of embroidery and it is believed that she helped the gods to make the famous Lotus Thread embroidery, depicting the flowers of Paradise, at the temple of Toema Dera.
