MERI

[Other] Meri is an important being from Tupinamba Indian mythology who quarreled and caused mischief with his brother Ari. Meri symbolizes the sun while Ari symbolizes the moon. They were warned by the Indians never to break the bottles they own. They disobeyed the warning and the Indians pursued them. Eventually, they caught up with them and as a punishment, the Indians blew them up into the sky where they remain to this day.
