POLYDORUS

[Greek heroic] The son of Cadmus and Harmonia, father of Labdacus. The youngest son of Priam. His father entrusted him, near the end of the Trojan War, into the hands of King Polymestor. He killed Polydorus, however, to gain possession of the treasures Priam had send along with his son (Virgil III, 45; Ovid XIII, 530).. The son of Hippomedon, one of the Epigonoi.
