PRADYUMNA

[Hindu] Son of Krishna and Rukmini. He is said to be an incarnation of Kama or Love-god. Pradyumna was abducted by a demon by name Sambara immediately when he was born to Rukmini. He was held captive by the demon till he attained adolescence and after attaining the age of 16 years, Pradyumna killed the demon and came back to his parents. Pradyumna is also said to be one of the forms of Vishnu.
