MULTIPURPOSE PROJECT

A project designed to serve more than one purpose. For example, one that provides water for irrigation, recreation, fish and wildlife, habitat restoration and protection, and, at the same time, controls floods or generates electric power. Also see Multiple Purpose Reservoir.
