THREATENED SPECIES

Any plant or animal species likely to become an "endangered" species within the foreseeable future throughout all of a significant area of its range or natural habitat; identified by the Secretary of the Interior as "threatened", in accordance with the 1973 Endangered Species Act (ESA). (See Appendix E-1, Nevada's Endangered and Threatened Species.)
