Woodland includes, in addition to what is ordinarily termed "forest" or "forest plantations", shelterbelts, windbreaks, wide hedge rows containing woodland species for wildlife food or cover, stream and other banks with woodland cover, etc. Also includes farmland and other lands on which woody vegetation is to be established and maintained.
