ROTATIONAL FISHERIES

A system were the exploitation of a mosaic of geographically distinct resources is rotated through a series open and closed areas and periods resulting in high fishing intensities over short periods of time followed by periods of fishing bans. This method has been suggested for the management of precious corals.
