Switzerland is known for being a ↑ neutral country (=one that does not support any side in a war) . It remained neutral in both World War I and World War II, and it does not belong either to the EU (European Union) or to the UN (United Nations). It is also a world centre for banking and the management of money, and is famous for its chocolate and its cheese, and for making clocks and watches.
