I. ˌInternational ˈCriminal ˌCourt, the BrE AmE ( also the ICC )

a court of law which has the authority to deal with individual people who have been ↑ accuse d of CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY , ↑ genocide , or ↑ war crime s . The court was established in 2003 and its ↑ headquarters are in The Hague. Many countries have signed agreements to say that they accept the authority of the International Criminal Court. Israel and the US also signed agreements, but later changed their minds and said that they did not accept the authority of the court.

II. ˌInterstate ˈCommerce Comˌmission, the BrE AmE abbreviation , the ICC

a former US government organization that dealt with the way the US states buy, sell, and exchange goods with each other. The organization was closed in 1995, and replaced by the Surface Transportation Board
