VENTRICULAR SEPTAL DEFECT (VSD)

A hole in the interventricular septum, the wall between the ventricles, the lower chambers of the heart. Commonly called a VSD. VSDs constitute a class of heart deformity that is present at birth (congenital cardiac malformation).
