Pronounced with lengthy emphasis on the ooooooooooo sound. A word used to humourously neutralize someone's anger and potentially an otherwise undesirable situation. However, not always guaranteed to work as it sometimes makes matters worse. Example: Calm down you big spooooooooooooooooooooner! Just cos I ran over your cat doesn't mean you have to get into such a snit.
