1. A person who is subtly manipulative and suggestive, who uses carefully selected words and actions to achieve a desired reaction. 2. Someone who disguises deriding or mocking comments in such a way that they are not perceived intil later. Example: 1. I can't believe that subliminal bastard of a salesman convinced me to get an Apple PC. 2. If I had realized at the time that I was being insulted I'd have cleaned his clock.
