CYCLE BALL

an amateur cycling game, played primarily in Europe, which is derived from association football. In cycle ball, two opposing teams mounted on bicycles try to trap and drive a ball into their opponents' goal by manipulating the ball, which is 1820 cm (78 inches) in diameter, with the wheels of their bicycles. Cycle ball is played indoors between teams of two riders, and as a field game between teams of six. Annual international competition, including an annual world championship, is governed by a subsidiary body of the International Federation of Amateur Cyclists.
