Spanish Sierra Parima, Portuguese Serra Parima, range in northern Brazil and southern Venezuela. It is an outlying range of the Guiana Highlands and extends south-southeastward for about 200 miles (320 km), separating Venezuela from Roraima territory, Brazil. Its peaks, largely unexplored, reach an elevation of 5,000 feet (1,500 m) above sea level. Headstreams of the Orinoco River rise on the western flanks, and headstreams of the Branco River descend from the eastern slopes. The range connects with Pacaraima Mountains in the northeast.
