I . Edward Bond

(1934– )

an English writer of plays. Many people were shocked by the violence in his early plays, and his Early Morning (1968) was the last play to be banned in the UK by the Lord Chamberlain . His other works include Lear (1971) and The Sea (1973).

II . James Bond

the main character in a series of novels by Ian Fleming . James Bond is a daring and attractive British secret agent, who is also known as ‘007’. The first James Bond book was Casino Royale (1953). Many of the books have been made into exciting and often humorous adventure films.
