one of the leading teams in Formula One motor racing, with its main base in Britain. The company was established by Bruce McLaren (1937–70), a former racing driver from New Zealand. Its most successful period was from the mid 1980s to the early 1990s when its drivers Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna were world champions six times.
II . Malcolm McLaren
(1946–)
an English pop group manager and businessman. He is best known for bringing together the punk (1) group the Sex Pistols in 1975, and later managing their career. Together with Vivienne Westwood he also owned the clothes shop ‘Sex’ in the King’s Road , London, which became a centre of punk fashions.
