(1939–63)
the man who was arrested for the murder of US President John F Kennedy in 1963. He said he was innocent but was never tried, because he was killed by Jack Ruby two days after being arrested. The official Warren Report stated that Oswald was the only person who shot Kennedy, but many people still believe that others were involved. Oswald was a former US Marine who had lived in the USSR for three years.
