[Polynesian] The youngest child of Papa, the earth-goddess. Ruau has never been born but remains inside his mother, the earth. Whenever there is an earthquake -- a common phenomena in Polynesia -- the people say, "The child Ruau-Moko is moving in his mother's womb."
