[Haitian] The trickster in the folklore of the Negroes of Haiti (as well as of other parts of the Creole-speaking New World -- Martinique, Guadeloupe, Lesser Antilles). In Haiti, and elsewhere, his foil is the lumbering Uncle Bouki.
