YAN-LO

[Chinese] The god of the dead, lord and judge of the Fifth Hell. Punishment in this hell is the memory of things past. Yan-lo is completely identical to the Hindu god of death, Yama. In Chinese myth, however, he holds no power over those who by their excellence on earth pass to higher planes of existence. He is also simply referred to as Wang. Yan Lo's birthday is the 8th of the First Moon.
