HYDROGRAPHIC REGION (NEVADA)

Nevada has been divided into 14 hydrographic regions or basins, which are now used by the Nevada Division of Water Resources, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) to compile information pertaining to water resources and water use. These regions are also further subdivided into 232 Hydrographic Areas (256 Hydrographic Areas and Sub-Areas, combined) for more detailed study.
