(Water Quality) A process used to assess water treatment plant performance. This form of analysis compares type, size, and quantities of Bioindicators, or microbiota (1-600 m) in particles found in Raw Water to those found in the Finished Water. This method is particularly effective in evaluating filtration efficiencies, as log reduction, of conventional treatment systems, as well as for on-site evaluation of alternate filtration technologies.
