The Knowledge of God and the Service of God ; 5. From Rousseau to Ritschl ; 6. A Shorter Commentary on Romans ; 7. Theologische Fragen und Antworten ; and 8. The Word of God and the Word of Man . Ousted from Germany for opposing Hitler; taught absolute transcendence of God; Bible becomes the Word of God as it is read; all people are elected in Christ.
