Meaning of DEW-POINT DEPRESSION (DPD) in English

the numerical difference between the temperature of a sample and its dew-point. The greater the difference, the lower the relative humidity. Values (deg. C) of less than 3 would be considered to indicate 'high' relative humidity; those of 7 or greater would indicate 'low' relative humidity.
