Meaning of WHILE in English

We use ~ + subject + verb.

- I fell asleep ~ I was watching television.

- We met a lot of interesting people ~ we were on holiday.

When you are talking about the future, use the present tense (not 'will') after '~' :

- I'm going to London next week. I hope to see Tom ~ I'm there.

- What are you going to do ~ you are waiting?
