a printing business (1890–98) run by William Morris at Hammersmith, London, England, which produced fine editions of his own books and other works. The Kelmscott Chaucer , an edition of the Canterbury Tales with illustrations by Burne-Jones , is considered to be one of the most beautiful books ever produced. Kelmscott was the name of the manor house in Gloucestershire where Morris lived for many years.
