ANIMAL FARM

n. novel by George Orwell written during W WII and published in 1945 which tells the story of a group of animals who drove out the humans from the farm on which they live and manged it themselves and thereafter the farm became a brutal tyranny on its own (novel became widely recognized only in the late 1950s)
