MINNESOTA STATE UNIVERSITY

state university system comprising seven coeducational institutions of higher learning. It is made up of Bemidji State University, Mankato State University, Metropolitan State University (at St. Paul), Moorhead State University, Saint Cloud State University, Southwest State University (at Marshall), and Winona State University. Each institution allows cooperative study at the other schools in the system. An overseas campus of Minnesota State University is located in Akita, Japan. There are approximately 62,000 students enrolled in the state university system.
