Pinyin Shufu, Chinese white porcelain made during the Yan dynasty (12061368) at Ching-te-chen. As the first known porcelain ordered by imperial officials, it sometimes bears the characters shu fu ( literally central palace, or privy council). The body of the ware is covered with a bluish opaque glaze; the base is unglazed. Some extant examples have relief decoration.
