BARBICAN CENTRE

a large cultural centre in the Barbican , an area of modern buildings in the City of London, north of St Paul’s Cathedral . The Centre includes a concert hall which is the home of the London Symphony Orchestra , three cinemas, a theatre which was the London home of the Royal Shakespeare Company until 2002, and a smaller theatre, an art gallery, a public library and two exhibition halls, as well as a conference hall, a bar and restaurants.
