CLOTTED CREAM


Meaning of CLOTTED CREAM in English

thick cream that is made by slowly heating milk and taking the solid layers of cream that form on the top. It is common in the south-west of England where the cows produce milk with a lot of cream in it. Clotted cream is often eaten with jam on scones or with fruit such as strawberries.
