a children’s book (1886) by Frances Hodgson Burnett , about a young American boy who discovers that he is the son of a British earl (1). He has long fair hair and is always well dressed and polite. The name is now sometimes used to describe a young boy who behaves badly because he is given everything that he wants and allowed to do what he likes.
