Meaning of OLD AGE PENSIONER in English

a person who is old enough to receive a pension from the state. In Britain, men over 65 and women over 60 can receive state pensions. Some people find the phrase ‘old age pensioner’ offensive, and prefer phrases such as ‘senior citizen’, ‘retired person’ or simply ‘pensioner’.
