CENSUS X-11 (SEASONAL ADJUSTMENT) PROCESS

(Statistics) A seasonal adjustment process for decomposing time series data into its trend-level, seasonal index, trading day, and irregular components. It is primarily used to De-Seasonalize official government statistics for publication, but is arguably the most widely used and accepted seasonal adjusted process.
