COOLING WATER CONSUMPTION (POWER)

The cooling water which is lost to the atmosphere, caused primarily by evaporation due to the temperature rise in the cooling water as it passes through the condenser. The amount of consumption (loss) is dependent on the type of cooling employed: Once-Through Cooling Water, Cooling Pond, or Cooling Tower.
