Meaning of FECUNDITY-PER-RECRUIT in English

The total fecundity (e.g. number of eggs) produced of a cohort (or age class) during its entire lifespan, or by a total stock in one year, divided by the number of recruits to that stock or at the origin of the cohort. Obtained from an analytical yield-per-recruit model assuming a steady state system.
