Clegg, Nick /kleɡ, nɪk/ BrE AmE
(1967-) a British politician who became the leader of the Liberal Democrats in December 2007. He was a Member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2004, and was elected MP for Sheffield Hallam in May 2005. From March 2006 to December 2007 he was the Liberal Democrats’ Home Affairs Spokesperson.
