(1942–) a British politician, who was born in Wales and was leader of the Labour Party from 1983 to 1992. He is remembered for making a lot of changes in the Labour Party in order to make it more popular. After leaving British politics in 1992, he became a member of the European Commission and became its VICE PRESIDENT . He is married to Glenys Kinnock, who also worked for the European Union, as a Member of the European Parliament. He left the Euopean Commission in 2004 to become ↑ chairman of the British Council. His official title is Baron Kinnock.
