(1940–) a US ↑ coach (=person who trains a team) for Indiana University's ↑ basketball team until 2000. He then became coach for Texas Tech until he ↑ retire d in 2008. He was known for getting angry very easily and for shouting at other coaches, but he is also a very successful coach.
