(1834–90) a ↑ Native American chief of the ↑ Sioux tribe who helped ↑ Crazy Horse to win a victory over General ↑ Custer ‘s army of US soldiers in the battle at the ↑ Little Bighorn in 1876. He later performed in ↑ Buffalo Bill ’s Wild West Show.
