PRIMARY SCLEROSING CHOLANGITIS (PSC)

A condition found in association with ulcerative colitis in which the large bile ducts outside the liver become inflamed and obstructed leading to frequent infections and jaundice, causing cirrhosis and sometimes creating the need for liver transplantation.
