PULSE FREQUENCY MODULATION (PFM)

Meaning of PULSE FREQUENCY MODULATION (PFM) in English

Modulation in which the pulse repetition rate is varied in accordance with some characteristic of the modulating signal . Note: Pulse- frequency modulation is analogous to frequency modulation of a carrier wave, in which the instantaneous frequency is a continuous function of the modulating signal.
