MASTER

(n.) An SBus device capable of initiating an SBus transaction. The CPU master is a host CPU distinguished from a more generic SBus master. The DVMA master explicitly excludes CPU masters. Any SBus master can communicate with any other slave on the same bus, regardless of system configuration.
