CHELIF RIVER

River, Algeria.

Rising in the Atlas Mountains , it flows north and west into the Mediterranean Sea east of the city of Oran . At 422 mi (679 km) in length, it is Algeria's longest river, though it is mostly unnavigable and has an irregular flow.
