a well-known children’s book by Lewis Carroll , first published in 1872 with illustrations by John Tenniel . It is about the adventures in a strange world of Alice, a little girl who was also the subject of Carroll’s earlier book Alice in Wonderland . These include meeting Tweedledum and Tweedledee , Humpty Dumpty (2) and the lion and the unicorn .
