INDEPENDENT REVIEW

In computer modeling and simulation, a review performed by competent, objective reviewers who are independent of the model developer. Independent review includes either (a) a detailed verification and/or validation of the model or simulation; or (b) an examination of the verification and/or validation performed by the model or simulation developer.
