STEVE JOBS

Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak are the legends who started Apple Computer from a California garage in 1976, launching the personal computer age. Through the early 1980's Jobs led the development and marketing of the Macintosh computer, and oversaw the growth of Apple into a two billion dollar company. After being ousted from Apple Computer in 1985, Jobs started the NeXT Corporation to provide an educational system at a reasonable price. In 1995 Jobs changed the name of the company to NeXT Software, Inc., and recently NeXT was acquired by Apple Computer. Presently Steve is back as interim CEO of Apple Computer, while also retaining the position of Chairman and CEO of Pixar Animation Studios, the creators of the animated feature film "Toy Story."
